Easter Convention 2011 details released

QCCC Tamborine is one of the accommodation providers to the annual Mount Tamborine Keswick Easter Convention, a ministry of the Mount Tamborine Convention.  Details of the 2011 convention have just been released.

The Keswick Easter Convention has been running on Tamborine Mountain for more than fifty years.  Held over the four days of Easter it is a busy program of teaching sessions, electives, children and youth programs as well as providing a time for personal reflection in the breathtaking grounds of the Beacon Road property at Tamborine.

The Convention is a favourite retreat for families with lots of open space for games and the kids well-catered for with programs throughout the weekend.  QCCC Tamborine’s accommodation is one of the options available for people attending the Convention.

The principal speaker in 2011 will be Rob Whittaker., Principal of Capernwray Bible School (UK). With degrees in both Physics and Theology, Rob became Principal of Capernwray Bible School in 2001. He preaches extensively throughout Europe in churches, Bible schools and conferences, and more recently his travels have taken him to Australia, Canada and the U.S.A.

Another keynote speaker will be Don McLellan, currently associate pastor at the Keperra Baptist Church in Brisbane.  Rob has extensive lecturing experience at the Harvest Bible College and at the missionary training college of WEC International in Tasmania.
